Dénia is a well-known Spanish municipality of the Costa Blanca, located in the Valencian Community, combining historical heritage, nature, beach and recreation, and the remains discovered during archaeological excavations reveal the strong activity of the city Several periods and notable events in Spanish history. The archaeological museum of Dénia allows to discover the inheritance of the different cultures that have inhabited it, divided into four rooms, each dedicated to one of the great peoples who conquered the city: The Iberians, the Romans, the Muslims and the Christians.

On a hill in front of the sea, the castle of Dénia also traces the history of the town through the successive reconstructions that it has known according to the will of its inhabitants since its construction in the Muslim period.

The sea is closely linked with the life and history of Dénia. Until the 1970s, the district "Baix la Mar" was the corner of fishermen and maritime trade. Today, it has turned into a charming neighborhood, renowned for the squares of Sant Antoni and de la Creu. Another typical neighborhood of Dénia is that of the Old Town. There are houses built in the 17th and 18th centuries by bourgeois families enriched by the trade in raisins. Loreto Street is home to a selection of restaurants and bars and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Church.

The street Marqués de Campo is the center of the activities of the city. Numerous restaurants, bars and shops are concentrated there and several events are organized every year. Dénia does not lack any festivities. You can attend the Parade of the Magi on January 5, the International Music Week in August and the All Saints' Fair in October. Throughout the year, the Théâtre Auditoire du Center Social also hosts performances of dance, music and theater.

As for nature, the Montgo Nature Park is a protected natural area that combines a great diversity of fauna and flora. Several hiking trails have been created to facilitate access to visitors and ensure the conservation of this natural heritage.
